01. How far in advance should I book my tour?

Our popular tours sell out fast!! Your reservation is guaranteed when you book in advance.


02. Why are your tour prices so much lower than those on our cruise lines and other tour operators online?

We are a small operation with less overhead and work directly with the tour operators.


03. Can I make changes to my reservation?

Yes. Changes can be made to your reservation in advance in order for us to make proper planing.


04. Do you have a cancellation and refund policy?

Tours In Ocho Rios will honour cancellations given three(3) days prior to your reservation. These must be submitted in writing by replying to the e-mail confirmation sent to purchaser(s) e-mail address. Any cancellations caused by “illness” at the time of Excursion will require a medical certificate from your Ship’s Doctor and can be presented at the time of excursion by group member(s) or faxed to our office in which case you will not be charged full excursion charges.

Deposits are kept on credit up to one year and may be used for a future reservation.

Deposits are refundable under the following conditions:

  1. Cruise Ship cannot come into the Ports of Ocho Rios, Falmouth or Montego Bay due to inclement weather
  2. The operator cancels the Excursion or if the Excursion cannot take place due to inclement weather.


05. Are the entrance fees to attractions included in the prices quoted?

Yes. The prices quoted is a package and includes all your admission fees and transportation.


06. Do you require a deposit?

A 25% deposit is required to reserve your space on an excursion.


07. What happens if I’m late in disembarking the Ship?

You may inform one of the J.T.B. dispatchers at the Pier that you are doing a tour with Dwight Soares at Tours in Ocho Rios and they will contact your driver at the holding area to start your tour. Please have your confirmation voucher with you and present it to your tour operator.


08. At what time and where do I meet you?

A confirmation voucher will be sent to you by email with your meeting time and other important information related to your tour.


09. When does the tour begin?

All tours for Cruise Ship passengers begin when you are picked up. It is important that you arrive at the meeting point A.S.A.P. as this will allow you to have more time for your tour. If for any reason you would like a special pick up time, please have this stated in the section that says comments on the reservation form.


10. Will I get back to the ship on time?

Tours in Ocho Rios has up to date information on all Cruise Ship arrival and departures into the Ports of Ocho Rios. All our tours are customized with the Ship’s arrival and departure times in mind to assure your timely return.


11. How are we transported?

Our passengers are transported by a fully air conditioned J.T.B.(Jamaica Tourist Board) approved Car, Van or Bus depending on the size of the group, all our drivers/tour guides are also trained and approved by the J.T.B.

 


12. Can my group and I all fit in one bus and stay together?

Yes. Please contact us at toursinochorios@gmail.com to make special arrangements for large groups who would like to travel together. we have buses that seat up to 22 passengers.


13. At what point can I be sure that I have a reservation?

Tours in Ocho Rios will email you a confirmation voucher. If you have not received a confirmation voucher within 24 hours of your request, please contact us at toursinochorios@gmail.com


14. Do you do customized tours?

We can do a customized tour for a group ( a minimum of 4 persons ) which would be different from one of our pre packaged tours. Please contact us at toursinochorios@gmail.com for details.


15. Do you have a tipping policy?

Tipping your tour guide is at the clients discretion and is not included in the package.


16. Can I prepay for this tour as a gift?

Yes you are able to prepay for this tour as a gift, for someone please contact us at toursinochorios@gmail.com


17. Is lunch included in your tour package?

Yes, we include Jamaican lunch in all our tour packages at no additional cost.


18. Can I arrange excursions when I arrive at the Cruise Ship Pier?

No. All reservations for excursions must be made 48 hours in advance.


19. Do you have group specials?

20. What payment methods do you accept?

All quotations are made in US dollars and we accept cash or travelers checks only (no credit cards please).


21. When and who do I pay?

A 25% deposit is required to reserve your space on an excursion and the balance is required at the time of your excursions, which should be paid directly to your driver/ tour guide.


22. Can I book when I arrive in Jamaica?

No, it is best to reserve your excursion before you arrive, this way we can guarantee your space on the excursion as well as make all the necessary arrangements with the tour suppliers before you arrive.


23. Can I pay with a Credit Card excursion time?

No, in most cases the driver will need the cash during your excursion to pay your entrance fees at the attractions, so it’s best to bring the balance in cash.
